Home / Get Involved / Giving Hearts, Adopt a Room Program

By sponsoring a room through the Giving Hearts, Adopt a Room program you will be supporting the children and families of the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House. The House is more than a place where families can rest and recover while dealing with a child’s medical crisis. At the House, families find support and a sense of community. They have kitchens to cook meals, laundry rooms, a fitness center, outdoor playground with barbecues and areas for families to bond with other families.

Studies show that children heal quicker and go home faster from the hospital when loved ones are nearby. By supporting Giving Hearts, your dollars will go directly to providing love, comfort, and a sense of normalcy for those who need it most.

Learn more about the families you will be supporting by reading about the Sanofsky family, who stayed at a Ronald McDonald House when their son, Oliver, was in the hospital.
