Every May and September, Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake hosts a work party to aid in the opening and closing of camp.

Volunteers from all over Northern California join for fun, great food and of course projects! Work parties generally last for one week, but volunteers need not stay for the whole time; cabin spaces and RV spaces are available. Meals cost $10/day and include breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks. Come and join us for a great party!

Projects include: pipe repairs, maintenance of walkways, staining of buildings, pine needle removal, dock set-up, replacing flooring in cabins and building opening & cleaning.

Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake relies heavily on volunteer contributions throughout the summer.

There are a variety of experiences for every person's comfort level.

Camp Ronald McDonald is always looking for mature, reliable and responsible individuals at least 16 years of age to live in a cabin with campers and assume responsibility for leadership and guidance of those

campers in a daily living situation with special attention to: personal hygiene, safety, camper participation in all camp activities, and mealtime behavior and habits.

PROGRAM ASSISTANTS

Each program area is tailored to meet the individual needs of all our campers. Help our program specialists with the implementation of activities during unit time.

Help in the creative process of planning activities.

We offer innovative program activities in the areas of Arts & Crafts, Waterfront, Outdoor Education, Sports and Drama.

FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANTS

Food service is a point of pride for Camp Ronald McDonald staff.

We provide menu selections full of variety, taste and yes, nutrition. All menus are created to meet the special needs and tastes of all of campers.

We operate a state-of-the art kitchen that is overseen by a

Registered Dietitian and ran by undergraduate dietetic students to ensure that everyone's special dietary needs are met. There are always opportunities to assist our Food Service Interns with the preparation, production, and clean up of meals.
